NUFF and NUFF Global 2007 came to a close on June 10th after ten jam-packed days of film-making, film-watching, international fervor, and friendship. With participants, workshop leaders, and jury members coming from all corners of the globe and with a side-program focused specifically on global climate change, the festival took on a powerful international dimension for the first time in its five-year history.

The jury was impressed by the diversity and the thematic focus in the films presented. We have seen films from all parts of the world and all have qualities central to this competition. Most have very strong qualities and tell the audience something unique. The festival has, in this way, contributed to the production of a large number of films which we are sure will find their audiences all over the world.
