 Since moving to New York in 2003, Tanja Meding has worked as a producer for Maysles Films. She is the associate producer for the upcoming documentaries: THE GATES as well as HAND-HELD AND FROM THE HEART. She also produced: CHRISTO AND JEANNE-CLAUDE, a film for Hermes Gallery in New York and THE BEALES OF GREY GARDENS, which was recently theatrically released in New York City. Currently she in production of a portrait film about downtown New York choreographer-dancer Sally Gross.
In 1996, Tanja started working in the film industry in her native Germany with the Munich-Berlin based media company TiMe. From 1998 until 2003 she was the associate producer for a world-traveled short feature collection at Ziegler Film, Berlin, where she worked with filmmakers such as Bob Rafelson, Amos Kollek, Petr Zelenka, Hal Hartley, Susan Streitfeld, Eoin Moore, Jos Stelling, Rosa von Praunheim, Dito Tsintsadze and others. |
